This may seem odd but with this Parker Hale I am looking at I want to know if there is any list of the 1" tube length for scopes. This rifle will not allow me to have rings that offset back towards the eye so I want to work out what scopes have longer tubes (1" section) that can therefore slide back further for mounting.

I took out the Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 and the Bushnell Trophy XLT 4-12x40 and the 3-9x40 can be mounted about 3/4" further back than the 4-12x40 just due to the length of the tube that you can mount to.

I am not looking to do anything right away but trying to figure out options, scope cost would be under $300, probably closer to $200 on sale if possible.

Thanks

I recently had the same issue. I called the scope's website help line and they told me that the website included the pdf manual for each scope, and the manual included a diagram of all the scope dimensions. From that I was able to figure out which scope would fit.

Thanks, so work out what I really want to use and call to see if it will work out first.

You would think there would be enough variation with the adjustment forward and back on top of the eye relief but I have 2 rifles that needed offset rings to make them comfortable.
