scope

google and go on their website. claim to be US made i believe. They have a new SIII lineup that they are trying to market against the Leupold mK4 riflescopes with the enticing part being that the price will be around $400 less for a comparable scope.

not too sure on warranty service in Canada. i was told know by the distributor when i blew one up on a 300WSM. It was the entry SI scope, not sure if it was recoil or more likely the gun falling over onto the basement floor

I have an SII 3x12x42 Mildot reticle on my rifle, bought it new about 6 years ago. The only fault that I could bring up with it is that this particular model does not have target turrets. I bought the Stoney Point addon turrets for my longrange stuff. The glass is very good, no distortion around the edges, really a nice tight scope. 1/4 minute adjustments are audible and tactile.

Its an all around good scope, I was thinking of trying out one of the Falcon Optics scopes, just to have the built in hand adjustable turrets. (If you're interested in buying my Sightron, it would give me an excuse to try the Falcon!!)

I liked the riflescope enough to buy one of their spotting scopes. I do not like the adjustments on the spotting scope - very hard to fine focus....
