I think I've seen two M1 Carbines with scopes and one sucked and the other was pretty much the ###iest gun I've ever seen. Anyone have any pictures of theirs (or someone else's) with a scope mounted?

there is only 1 scope that belongs on the m1 carbine (actually the m3)

not pictured is the batteries and the cables.........

See, now that thing looks butt ugly. And I bet it isn't very comfortable to walk around with either.
No, it was just a shorter scope and I think it was a Bushnell 9x or something like that.

there are scope mounts the fit in the rear sight dovetail but really with such a low powered round the irons are just fine I shoot mine at 100m with the irons

the above pic (not mine but i do own a type 3 carbine) is the orig night vision sniper scope for the m1 carbine made in 1945 a version was also used in korea

funny - I was just holding my M1 carbine and thinking about scoping it. If anybody knows who may be selling dovetail mounted scope rails - please drop the link or name of a dealer. Any other options for mounting scope? Can belarus SVD scope rail be somehow fitted? My carbine shoots like 3 feet high at 50 yards, I thought either drill and tap and install taller front pin or scope it and forget about irons. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Sorry for hj.

your carbine should shoot high at 50 yards the lowest setting is 100 yards

adjust the rear sight or file the front sight post/install a taller front sight as required

If your carbine has the orig flip rear sight (cant adjust for windage) please DO NOT mess that carbine up its orig
