Hello fellow CGN'ers...I recently received my firearms license and was given a .22 to plink with. This has now turned into a project gun as I am in the middle of building a custom fiberglass stock. Of course this plinker would not be complete without a scope...I may have a vast knowledge of working with fiberglass, but i know nothing about scopes. So here's what Im after....I need a scope that will easily allow me to reach 100 yards, but ultimately i want to reach 200 (i know, i know its only a .22, but ammo is cheap, so why not?). My range has a 300 yd as well, and it would be a lot of fun if i could do that as well. again, i realize the limitations of a .22, and i accept that... I just dont want a scope that will limit my .22...Cost is also a big factor (just bought a $600 pistol...). Now, i've seen scopes at canadian tire and even walmart for under $100. One was a bushnell 3-9x...
if some of you fine people could offer up some advice on cheap scopes that could at least get me close to my needs, or even point me in the direction of some good info to educate myself, I would greatly appreciate it...
thanks
