One of these typical what scope would you use threads.
So far i am looking at an Athlon, Argos 6-24x50, about 750$
Looking if i can get something cheaper with features i want.
Don't own rifle yet, just looking what kind of budget it would cost me to get an NRL22 rig going for training purposes.

Currently own a 308 with Razor gen ll 4-27x56, and would like an mrad reticule that mimics the christmas tree reticule i currently have.
Turrets don't need to track good, but need to hold zero really good. Glass as long as i see clearly at 200M at the very max.
Reticule in the FFP, zoom range i guess around 10-12 would be enough for intended range and purpose.

Typically, i'd zero the .22, chrono, make myself drop charts, and only holdover and never dial anything.

I am certain there is a better budget than 750$ for intended use.
In vortex line up, their diamondback series seem to only revolve around the MOA units, i want something in mils

One guy that got one in the States said that he had to order different scope rings. The 30MOA base and pic rail on the fore-end mean you need higher than usual scope rings.

As to the optic choice, I have a similar interest to what you posted. Needs to have side knob parallax that does 25-100yards for NRL22.

Very good point on side parallax.
Even if 40 and +, set at 40 won't have a terrible effect at 25, speaking from experience here (previously had a CZ 452 varmint i have since sold)

30 moa is quite the cant just saw that on their site, as i wanted to type barrel twist, lenght and bullet type in my ballistic app.
Not like an actual chrono, but at least gives me an idea of how much drop i am to expect (zero @ 25M).
1.3 mils @ 100M
3.2 mils @ 150M
5.5 mils @ 200M

Not chrono accurate but an idea.
Even if NRL22 ends @100M, nothing would stop me practicing positional at slightly further.

I run an Athlon Talos BTR on my .22 Savage MkII TR. Ran a tall target test on it and it tracks well elevation-wise, not so great windage-wise but I just hold anyways. Has side parallax and a useable Xmas tree reticle, FFP, works for me for .22. Have used it out to 300 yards (prone) but normally just do positional practice at 100 with it.

Thanks for suggestion
I didn’t see the talos at our canadian retailer but will enquire on it when time comes
Just got off their website and it fits the bill

Now to wait and see if local club will have some type of prs rimfire events

Did you order your Athlon Talos BTR? It looks like a great rimfire scope.
Have you looked at the Falcon M18 4-18x44. I am not sure if it checks all your boxes but could be a contender.
