Scoping Finnish M91?

I have got a 1914 reciever M91, B barrel.
Can't make up my mind on what Mount should I use. Scout, drill and tap, still band?
There are not that many out there for M91s.
Please tell me about your experience.
 
Ya I would recommend going the scout route. it's reversible , those B barrels are kind of rare. But just about any 91/30 scope mount will work on a m91
 
Jmeck makes a wrap around reciver clamp mount. Im going to get one to try. Completly non distrutive and would sit like a regular mount.

I just ordered a dovetail mount from Ebay from like ace, it has two locking nord bolts? take the two rear sight pins out, slide on and it is a solid aluminum piece with 1 inch scope rings of which the bottom half is part of the whole structure. should get it next week. i'll post pics and a review when i get it out

The m91 doesn't have pins in the rear sight.
 
Stop right there.
Why not buy modern 308 rifle and scope it? you'll get much more accuracy and satisfaction out of it than 100 year rifle. Plus it may come with all pre drilled points and rings for scopes too.

May be because I already got one like that?

Just want to find a way to scope my M91 and have some fun with it.
 
If your really hell bent on scoping it go with the jmeck mount. Youll need a bent bolt body as well. But i have m91s here and the bores are generally not good enough to merit a scope. The fins ran them hard for a long time. Sell the m91 and pick up a scoped 91/30 for probally half what you sold the m91 for. If you want a mosin thag deserves a scope. Sell the m91 and put the cash aside for an m39. Im getting a jmeck for mine because the rifle can easly out shoot what i can do with the nubby sights. I know it will shoot within 2" groups with mfs ammo at 100 if i get a scope on it.
