scoping options for CZ

So I was hoping to get your opinion, I have decided to either get a POSP mounted on a NEA cantalever mount or a POSP attached to a side rail. Which route would you go and why? I have a collapsable stock already but would need to get the adapter and mount (NEA) or should I just get a slightly cheaper POSP scope and get a side rail mounted by a local gunsmith? Make sense???

Sidemount with like a 4x POSP would be sweet for a CZ. I personally dont like the NEA cantilever, but they are function over form, and they do work well. And its QD so thats always a plus.

What would i choose? Sidemount probably, but thats just me.
 
The sidemount would allow you to use the the rail on the NEA adaptor to mount a BUIS if you were so inclined. Of course, you would also need the barrel clamp to mount the front sight.
 
I played around with the cantilever mount. I really like it. I threw a small scope on for giggles and the spent casings hit the bell end. If I can find a shell deflector I will use the small scope. For now my EO TeCH will work.
 
Those that have side mounted their POSP, did you install the rail yourself? I am not a DIY kinda guy and have NO tools to speak of, just wondering if its easy enough to do it myself.
 
I have a side mount, I got a gunsmith to install it, mostly because i sold most of my tap and drill equipment and my drill press, plus if they mess it up they are buying you a new gun lol.

Personally I love the side mount 4x posp, quick and easly removal with no loss of zero and i throw a red dot for closer targets within seconds.
 
There are some mount's out there that when using a posp mount you can put on what ever you want;

Also we need to start bugging Kassat to start making more of his non-gunsmith required posp mounting bracket's. As it will work with anyones rear stock set-up but only add a 1/4 of an inch;

In my opinion, those side mounts look so cheesy. The M14 has a side mount, but it looks very good compared to these great big, cheap looking Warts. I wish there was a better way of mounting a scope, without going the Scout Scope route. No kidding, but I think that I could make something out of wood, that looks better than these posp mount things.

We have a shell defelctor coming out in the near future. Low cost and 100% function
 
For my utility, a posp scope 4x24 ak style mount along the mounting rail from interammo was the best setup. Its easy to install, sturdy, holding zero flawlessly. Some might find that this setup sit a bit high without having a cheek rest but since a cz is not a long range sniper rifle, i found that even if the scope is a little bit high, its not an issue at all. My cz have the original fixed stock so having a cheek rest would not be a good idea for using the iron so for me doesnt matter because i can switch to the irons sights at any time without having to remove a cheek rest. I didnt try other setup so i cant comments on other systems, all i can say is that,for me, the posp mounted on a side rail work perfect and offer an excellent platform. Just my humble opinion:)

That's great news, looking forward to it, have to say I'm very pleased with my cantilever mount setup, scope, red dot, iron battle sights it works with them all. The deflector is going to be good as my scope sits out over the ejecting rounds.

The sooner the better! I'm going to NEED one!

On that note, I would stay away from the Millet DMS-1 on the cantilever mount, because of the sheer length of the scope. The way I have mine set up, I have about an inch or so of scope hanging out over the end of the ejection port that I know is going to take a ####-kicking, and, with my stock maxed out, I'm still about an inch or more short on eye relief.

The thing is, I'm gonna make this ##### work. All-in I'm into this setup for $1200 so far, and that's before I pick up a sling, more mags, a means of carrying said mags, and ammo.
