I got these cheapo Chinese Weaver adapters for a Toz8m. It is not that well suited for a scope esp. as I'm Kerr fisted. I took the adapter to a H.W. store to check whether the screw pitch was m3. I expected it to be metric but no. Trust the Chinese to have it in a gunsmithing pitch! I had wanted to get hex head bolts for it to get more torque on it without mangling the screwhead. I could care less what the adapter looks like as long as I can torque it into the dovetail well enough. Not sure if I can drill it out & use nuts bolts & lockwashers. Seems iffy due to the low profile. Otherwise I will tune the windage with the irons & just use the irons. It is aces with the irons. I heard these are meant for standard velocity. I like it but do not like the way the bolt handle sort of grinds its way into battery. Almost seems the rifle was designed to sell cans of Never Seize! Very accurate gun but the windage is ever so slightly off at 100 m by about 25-37 mm.
