Score 12g 00 buck feeding issues

That's a factory shell???

wow...

No, sanding the shell isn't the fix.

If you have access to a roll crimp you can maybe try and salvage them.

But I'd have to question if those shells are worth firing.
If that passed quality control, who knows what the rest of the shell looks like.

yeesh.

typically ammo sales are final, but definitely reach out to where you bought them and/or Score to see if they'll do something for you.

But if all else fails, see if you can find anyone local to you that has a roll crimp die to maybe clean up the crimp a little so it will feed in your guns.

My Score shells do not look like that! Maybe not the greatest crimp, notice the ones in the middle, but they are not mis-shapened like all yours op.

Cheers
Jay

Oh it's factory

So much for supporting a canadian company expecting it to be decent. Going to contact them and see what they say

Who ever set up the final crimp starion at the factory didnot have a clue what they were doing not to mention used a 6 point die vs a standard 8 as jay's are and much nicer
I have never seen factory shells so bad in my 55 years of pulling handles. I would try to return them if you can
Wad is way too low which resulted in the deep recessed petals. To me a filler wad was needed and a 8 point vs a 6 point die and less wad pressure
Looks like something my daughter would reload at age 8 but hers were even better
All the best

They should look like these 6 poiny

I just received an order of Score 00 Buck today. They don’t look very evenly consistent. Each box looked like this. I only own a semi- think they will feed?

They look like they used the wrong wad, looking at the dip in the center.

They might work, but I would send them back for a refund and forget about the company.

Mine look just as bad.. 00 buck and slug

You can even see the 00 pellets protruding slightly in the shells
