Score one for the little guy

At the Lloyd show he said he had 5 million Federal primers on backorder. In my books that's some serious volume for a "small" dealer.

He could have 100 million on backorder. Doesn't really mean much, if they don't show up more than 10 thousand at a time. The chances of getting a million primer order in is pretty much zero.

On a side note, I just found 900 215M primers I didn't know I had...:dancingbanana:

I have bought stuff from Doug at guns shoes numerous times. Not only does he have a lot of stuff available, but he even has hard to find stuff once in a while. I was pleased to find brass for 7.62x25 and really nice 7.62x54R brass too. Hie occupies a lot of tables, with lots to look over. Never rude, always fair.

Doug is the reason I still go to gun shows. He has everything I have been unable to find in the months before at fair prices. Some of the other "dealers" don't like him or Darcy Bowyer attending shows. Must be that they are actually selling merchandise, not just displaying overpriced rifles that have been packed around for the last five years.

He sure isn't afraid to order mass quantities, that's for sure.

I always deal with him when possible. Has supplies others say they cannot get, or do not have. Fair prices. He has told me in conversation over the last couple years since I started dealing with him that he is the largest Nosler and Sierra dealer in Canada, and I am sure he is with other manufacturers. When RL17 came out, everyone said nothing in Canada? He had 10 lbs. 5 of which I bought over a year ago. He even has Norma powder.
