We have had a lot of customers tell us how great these slugs are, and I wanted to share with you what one of our friends in Quebec had to say:
I finally got on the range with them a couple weeks ago and the performance was
amazing. Keep in mind it was my first time shooting slugs with a pump action bead
sight, so there were some amateur-ish handling issues to deal with. But, I fired
70rnds of Winchester Super-X 1oz rifled, 100rnds of Federal PowerShok 1oz and 60rnds
of SCORE (It was a fun morning).
Of the 3 of them, SCORE had the least felt recoil, the tightest grouping and had zero
feeding or ejection issues. Plus the wads stayed on the projectile until they hit the
target, unlike the Federal which seemed to make two holes for every round fired. That
tends to make it easier to adjust the aiming.
It appears that not only has SCORE soundly beaten Winchester and Federal in terms of
price and availability, but in terms of performance as well.
