Just a reminder that we do local pickups in Calgary (I think with a name like Yukon1911, you're not in Calgary) - and out pickup price for the slugs is $149. We will also delay shipping for any customers who work away. If anyone needs this, just message us via our website contact page right after you order with the date you'd like to receive your order.

That's pretty much what I have told PrairieShot! They're working on their manufacturing process, so fingers crossed we get it in 2014. You can bet we'll have some amazing deals on it...

If you can't decide if you want 1oz or 1 1/8oz slugs, we're also doing split cases - 100 shells of each so that you can try them and see what you like.

Are there any factors to consider between going with 1 oz or 1-1/8? I'd be using these mainly with a KSG.

It's partly a matter of what you're shooting - a bigger slug will do a little more damage. Also, they're both 1560 FPS, so the bigger slug has a little more powder in, and you can expect it to have a little more recoil. You may want to choose 1oz if you're just plinking. But, with a KSG, you might want to try one case of each or a split case, so that you can swap between them and decide for yourself :)
