I finally got out and shot my little shorty Scorpio today. It's definitely not a target rifle, especially with the little 1-6 Westhunter scope I put on it, but not too shabby for such a cheap and handy little rifle. I need some more suitable targets to really see what it can do, my scope reticle has a dot surrounded by a horseshoe, and the dot disappears on the black center of the targets, especially with the tall grass on the way out there. The paper targets were at 50m. Maybe I should have turned on the illumination, but I didn't think of that until just now.

And my little improvised range. I've got some steel targets I made that I set up on the hillside out to about 190m. I normally use my tripod for practice on the further targets, but I was able to hit a 6" plate at 147m from a very awkward position. 3" plate at 71m, and a 6" at 94m were boringly easy to hit.
