I am a little behind, is the stock for the ns522 a drop in swap to the scorpio?

Pretty much. I had to remove some wood from in front of the trigger mechanism for the action to drop in, and make some longer action screws.The barrel channel is wider for the heavier barrel too, but it's not all that noticable.
