Scorpio SKS-15 7.62x39mm Non-Restricted

So how do the xcr mags run with one less round? Is it a mag issue or a rifle issue when some run and others don't?

I currently run my 10 rnd XCR mags to 8/10 but no more than 9/10 due to feeding issues. It has to be due to the round. I have 4 XCR mags and 1 NEA mag. Spent a few range trips trying to diagnose my Gen 2 NEA. Changed buffer weights, polished feed ramps, and even thru on a noveske pig for that extra pressure. Still didn't fix it, sure looks cool tho. In the end it was the mags. Being ASC or C Products or NEA it doesn't matter. Some mags just don't work. I've been debating buying another 5 mags of the new stock stores received these past few months to further engage this problem but I'm thinking it's cheaper to just swap out the barrel to 556 and be done with it entirely. Currently going on 600 rounds not a single jam using Barnaul and Norinco non corrosive since i started loading 1-2 less. Still better than 5 rounds.

I have played with this, I haven't shot it yet, and it seems really nice. I thought it was going to be heavy but it's much lighter than I thought. The machining is nice and over all it looks to be a nice quality piece.

Great looking rifle! I like the threaded barrel, the ability to use XCR mags, lighter weight and especially the price! Cleaning may be difficult but I am going to use non-corrosive anyway.

However, my biggest concern is that since the rail is not directly attached to the receiver, would it hold zero after removing/installing the chassis?

Gotta say......that is one wicked setup ya got there.

Very impressed so far, can't wait to see videos of this in use.

Any chance of seeing one that takes AK mags in the future?

and of course other colors?

I'd like to see a one of these use ak mags too. if there is feeding problems and you can't put in 10 in the xcr mag whats the point for a few extra rounds. You might as well have one that uses an an ak mag. At least they seem to work, my sks d runs just fine

All my pistol mags run fine with nine rounds. Some work fine with ten. If ten is important, just play with the mags that only hold nine. Just make sure you don't turn them to eleven :)
