The Scorpion EVO was specifically mentioned by Polysesouvient - an anti-gun special interest group, in correspondence in 2017. They cited a photo of the firearm in the hands of a soldier from CZ (the manufacturer’s) website.

I have one too, but now illegal to bring to range and use.
There is no guarantee of grandfathering - the Liberals included several public commitments to it in various documents released on May 1, but have since backed away due to political pressure. Grandfathering without use is also useless.
The best approach is to support the legal challenges to the ban.
Guess Poly ran out of Web-Sites, AirSoft's, Missile's, Mortar's and RPG's to list and had to pad it with something...

The same reason we can't have AKs FAL etc. Because they just felt like banning it and it's a perfect scary looking plasticky gun that just makes people tremble in fear at the mere presence of it

The Scorpion is one of my go-to guns when I bring anti's or non-gun owner guests to the range, and has a great balance between shock value and fun. They go from "woah, how are you allowed to own that?" to "that was fun!". It also happens to be the only one in my collection that my wife has authoritatively claimed as "hers".
