I had a scorpion scope it was the 4.5x12 copper head with AO and the reticle was not level with the turrets. As far as the glass it was very clear. The AO was not smooth to turn and it scratched very easy. If the marksman series held a zero it would be worth the 80 bucks for a 3x9 but I wouldn't buy a high end scorpion.

Two Scorpion Venom Hi Grades 4-12x40 AE AO and BOTH are defective with black flecks in the glass, inside of the scope. Sent in the first one, received a new warranty replacement and has the exact same issue. Quality control is junk.
