Scorpion optics

Not that Im even remotely interested in buying one but are these things made in China (junk) like King optics or are they a decent scope? I was immediately turned off them when I saw Jason Perterson as their poster boy.

I bought the 4X32 rimfire at our local gun shop. I put both side by side, the 4x32 and the 3-9x32 and the 4x was actually clearer when they were both on the 4x.
At our local last gun show, the Scorpion dealer had a table set up and I duplicated
this test with their two. I made sure the multi x was on four and remarkably, it was
more clear than the 4x.....go figure.
Over the counter warranty exchange is something to consider.
The crosshairs I found to be a tad thick for 50 yard groups, but I don't brag up my shooting
eye either.
