I am looking for a scout style scope mount for my Mosin 91/30. I've been looking online and have heard bad things about them but thats people only using $20 mount or chinese POS airsoft ones so why they were expecting it to work well and stand up to the recoil is beyond me...

I want a good solid one that will hold zero. Price doesn't matter. I want a scout style mount so I do not have to drill into my gun at all and can leave it all "oringal".

The S&K has a retaining nut that replaces the spring under the sight. This allows the S&K to lock down and STAY down. I used a little lock-tite and never had an issue until the scope gave up. Some LER pistol scopes just aren't up to the 7.62x54r!
