"Scout" scope mount

I have a ruger MKII in 350 rem mag and I am interested in a "scout" mounted long eye relief scope. Would I be able to use a forward quarter rib from one of the ruger compact models with or without modification, or would I be looking at a one off custom job?

Ruger's Frontier line of M-77 use a quarter rib to mount a scout scope. The ribs appear to be rifle specific, so you would have to make sure you got the right one.

Or just buy the burris scout mount and drill and tap the holes. - dan

Buy XS scout mount. It's incredible and you can do it yourself.
I have one on a Lee Enfield and it look very good.
