scout scopes

I hope I am not asking a question that has already been answered, but here it is:

I have a S&K scout mount on my mosin with a LER NCstar 2-7x scope. The thing works fine, but I was wondering if any of you know of quality LER scopes with magnification around 6-10x available out there.

I would say if they exist they are as rare as hens teeth. The Scope was basically ment for a pistol I believe. I have a 2-6 Bushnell Pistol scope and I did a fair bit of reseach and never heard of one that you are looking for.

I am pretty sure that you are dealing with some kind of restriction as to magnification and LER. I haven't seen any higher than 7x, most are less. How does your scope works right now when you are at 7 x? Do you have to get closer to the scope and does it give you a smaller tunnel to see through. Just curious.

Actually, scopes for pistols have longer eye relief than scout scopes.

True scout scopes have longer eye relief than regular scopes, shorter than handgun scopes. They are quite a specialized optic.

Actually it works fine and I don't have to change my stance. I also own a
2.5x model.
