Thanks. there was quite a bit of work to get it right.
I Had to custom craft a fiberglass adaptor for the shotgun pistol stock piece, and I had the aluminium block included with the shotdun stock threaded by a machine shop to accept a new enfield-threaded rear stock bolt . The front stock is a surplus walnut I picked up at a gun show , which I restored and which required routing of the stock by hand and Lots of sanding and refinishing to fit the XS scout mount . ( Note that the barrel is free floated).
Finally I had to acra-glass the scout mount to the barrel itself while making sure it was on level an true to center . ( it s actually got a positive moa cant to save on scope adjustments).
I m Not unhappy with the project even though purists will heave at the sight.
The bipod is Harris, and it will shoot verified by witness 1 moa group at 100 if I do my job right which is seldom.
But before you cry heresy, remember it was already sporterized when I got it, barrel cut down, threaded for scope on receiver and barrel ...
