Scratch built birch 10/22 stock project

Yes it is a different trigger. There is a close up on pg 1. It started out as 1/2" aluminum plate, it follows the curve of the RT trigger housing, and I trimmed the back side of it until the trigger just lets off. No need for an overtravel.

Very nice.
On another subject, I am going to finally try out that BC barrel you did for me with some expensive ammo and see if it can do the 1/2" challenge. I've come oh so close using AE and Federal SV, I hope it likes the SK Rifle Match better.

Update, I bought a Green Mountain barrel blank 1" x 20" long, took quite a while to get it, and even longer for me to get it machined. 16.5" running boar, threaded 1/2-28 at the muzzle. Chambered to hopefully shoot federal bulk.

WOW! Incredible stock build. Birch, who woulda thought? Lovely character. The skeletonizing makes me a little sad though, a lot of nice wood just.... gone :( That's just my preference, I like a traditional stock style highlighting as much of the wood as possible. I appreciate the skill that went into your project, especially since fine finishing work is something I don't have much patience for.

It shoots fed bulk very well, but I have not had a chance to actually sit and see the actual accuracy. Been out shooting gophers a couple of times and the accuracy is great for that.
