When you suddenly shoot a 2" group with your under 1/2 "all day long" rifle. Then you scream.

aim 3 feet to the high.... "I dunno... it must have gone through the same hole!"

Thats why they use moving backers behind the target in benchrest. It proves you actually shot all five shots. There must be at least 5 bullet holes in the moving backer or your target is worthless.
