Screw for Redfield receiver sight?

Anyone know where I can get a set screw for this old Redfield receiver sight windage adjustment knob?

No idea where I lost it.

Somewhere along the way I got my hands on an old Weaver repair kit, with a whole bunch of assorted screws & such - from that, I've managed to make a lot of what I need by shortening and turning down the head diameter, etc.

Can you get the other one out to determine the size and TPI? If you can, I'd be pleased to send you a 'mini-assortment' to try, or to tinker into working.

Another good source (believe it or not) is Canadian Tire. They have a pretty good assortment of set screws from which you can often make what you need with a bit of careful grinding and filing.

If that was a Lyman 48 Mauser sight, I'd rassle you for it!

I have had good luck at my wife's favourite sewing machine shop. Singers and Eltnas are full of screws about that size.
