I bought one of these and was adjusting the screws and it looks like I stripped one;

http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/gas-system-parts/gas-blocks/ar-15-m16-clamp-on-front-sight-gas-block-prod21446.aspx

Anyone know the specs for the screw for this part and where to get one?

It's a hex cap screw that gets adjusted with an allen wrench.

Thanks,

Happy

Get a thread size and pitch gauge or call the manufacture and ask them for the size. I am currently doing a build where I want to replace all the bolts with titanium. And I have found it really hard because all the parts have different bolts, some are metric, some are SAE, and some are machine screws....I had to Email some companies for them to tell me what size fasteners they use, most of them got back to me right away with the correct info

if I had to guess as we do a lot of this kinda thing, it would have to be 8/32 as there is not much room for anything bigger. maybe, 10/32.

Just bring one of the un stripped ones to Canadian Tire and match it up.
Chances are they might have a replacement in stock.

That's what I did for one of my gas block screws.
The only catch was they did not have the exact length. They had longer and shorter, so I had to get a longer one and I have about 1/8" extra screw sticking out the one spot.
