Kudos for having the balls to take it apart to re-finish it. Speaking from experience, refinishing a rifle is a fulfilling project and terrible addiction. I refinished a Husky M98 just doing the cold blue method and look forward to trying out a rust blued finish. Time for another project I guess.
Make sure to take lots of photos as you go. They will not only help jog your memory about how things went together, but you can post as your project goes on and we can all see how it comes together (and pepper you with questions). I'm thinking about one of those TradeEx Rollers for a project of my own so I'd be curious to see how yours goes and to see what ideas I come up with for a project of my own.
