Just wondering if anyone knows what screws to use with a new Pedersoli 1874 sharps for mounting the tang sight. I've been looking for info, and I'm pretty sure they're #10-28. However, i did find a website that said M5-0.8 and another that said m5-0.9. Anyone know for sure?

Well... I asked my teacher at school, and he told em that a 10-28 die doesn't exist. I guess that means the screws will have to be made on a lathe?

They told me 10-28 so that what I bought and there way to big for my extra deluxe mine was shipped in the 90s and they don't know what size they used back then REALLY ? So I'll have to see a gunsmith.

Find out which Marbles sight fits your rifle and then find the screw kit # in the list

then Rustywood trading for the screw kit list, will show the sizes

most common, doesn't mean everything/all the time, of course

maybe....ymmv
my pedersoli sight needed a 10-32 to fit my Cimarron, found them at cdn tire
