Will it fit most AR triggers and safeties?
I believe the EVO will accept AR triggers.
My wallet looks worried.
Will it fit most AR triggers and safeties?
Are they banning though?
I thought the latest round of Australian Government draconian measures was to limit the number of firearms mere peasants could own as opposed to bans?
I see they changed the mounting point direction so you can’t easily swap on the older style TaipanX stockNot a fan of the stock.
What do you mean by jerry-riggable? Just out of curiosity. I would love to grab one of these in .300 BlkI can't say I understand all the complaints with the stock, it meets their stated design goals and field use. However, those that don't like it should understand it's not just the stock design per say being polymer, it's the entire lower receiver. It does look like it may be jerry-riggable.
Fox operator makes some stock adapters for the Evo, full stocks and buffer tube/ pic adapters if i recall correctlyI see they changed the mounting point direction so you can’t easily swap on the older style TaipanX stock
Well, I cant' say for sure not having one in hand. However just looking at the photos and promotional material, it does look like the grip and stock could be taken off the polymer lower. That would allow a replacement grip if it's still AR compatible. And the attachment point for the remainder of grip / stock combo, at lower attachment point it tmay be possible to jerry rig an adapter for alternative stocks - home made / aftermarket, maybe factory if enough demand is raised. What do you mean by jerry-riggable? I wanted a regular handguard and nobody seems to be able to help me. I wish it was easy like thatI like the look of some of the accessories that Fox Operator make for the Evo. Maybe North Sylva can get parts imported so their dealers have stock when we buy the Evo.

Yeah they have good stuff but a bit pricey. Not sure how much it would cost to ship from Australia to CanadaI like the look of some of the accessories that Fox Operator make for the Evo. Maybe North Sylva can get parts imported so their dealers have stock when we buy the Evo.

And then this will happen here in 5 years. The taipan is currently a category b firearm. A bunch of Australian firearms owners online believe they will be banning magazine fed firearms or moving them all to category C or D which will destroy the remaining market in Australia.
There’s a shorter version announced now called the Evo-Scout and has the normal Magpul style stocks.
Side note, it is impossible to buy replacement parts outside of needing warranty work on these SCSA guns. North Sylva has nothing, Gravel Agency has nothing, and SCSA doesn’t sell direct to customers. I wanted to get a second handguard and came up empty with them.
$1600 (incl. tax) for a gun with no available replacement parts? That's absolutely a hard pass no matter how good the gun is.There’s a shorter version announced now called the Evo-Scout and has the normal Magpul style stocks.
