I have an X also. About 175 rounds thru it, of 35 to 77 g. NO probs At ALL, if you 'let go' of the pump or charging handle, it goes into battery just fine and won't come loose unless you 'make it'. A bit more accurate with heavier ammo. Using a 20x scope off a rest I get 1-MOA at 100, ca 2-3 at longer dist depends on ammo. I've only fired 'commercial' rounds.

I forgot to add, I'm using the Cross mags and they work fine, have one of the P-mag 10/5-round mags and that's good also. I've got a Vortex 6-20 BDC scope on it now and also a Holosun-503 for close & fast shots. It's not as accurate as my Ruger bolt, but close to MOA with good ammo.

Current setup > Trying a reflex on a 45* as well as the Holosun on top of the scope. May reduce profile and fit in a soft case ? Only One of the Cross mags inserted in pic.

^ Just put the 45* on to test, not for ever. ". . . May reduce profile (compared to top of scope) and fit in a soft case "

When I first got it I tried the Holosun alone and could only get 3-4 MOA. I wanted to see how accurate this could be farther than 50 yds. 2-MOA at 100 & 3-4 at 170 with a scope. Still only ca 175 shots so hope to decide what's best, not a sniper I think.

To explain regarding the guess at being left handed, it is typical for right handed people to put an offset 45 degree mount on the right side of the rifle (just feels more natural I find) so if left handed the reverse would be true.

I imagine this caught Stevo's eye too.

I'm Left Eye Dom but shoot right all my life. I use the right eye for scopes, so Left is free to see the Holo on that side. I never tried it on the right, seems I'd feel awkward 'pushing' over to see on that side. I might try it tho, got another 45 šŸ˜‰
