SD9 Trigger kit

I bought the Spring kit for my SD9VE and after puting it all together i realized I didnt put the trigger back in place properly. I now can not take the slide off the pistol to fix the issue. Has anyone else had this issue and can tell me how the fixed the problem?

You should be able to remove the striker assembly with the slide still on the frame. I would suggest leaving the sd9 stock, it's a wonderfully reliable gun in stock condition.

Its the trigger that is out of place that is stopping it from releasing the slide. All I need is the slide to come off and I can fix the trigger, but I cant get the slide off because of the trigger. If anyone can help I can send pics to you for help

Maybe get someone to wiggle/pull down the trigger, while you try to remove the slide?

Oh I was thinking because the trigger isnt tripping the sear is why you cant get the slide off. If you remove the striker nothing should be impeding the forward motion of the slide given everything else is normal.
