Where can I find info on using the Search function


I need to learn how to cheat the filter to allow me to search with only 3 characters

also, how do I tell it to allow more than 20 hits??? It shows "1-19 of 346" and only allows me to see the first 19, the next page et al are not optioned

Search functions on forums are pretty good, but limited.


Also, I ask that users use common abbreviations... You'll find about 83 different ways folks post info on the 30-30...

I believe you can use wild cards like $ for a single character and * for multiple characters. So for eg. if you're searching for PAL, you can type in PAL$ in the search field. You may get odd hits like PALM or any other 4 letter word beginning with PAL. If you did PAL* you can get PAL plus any number of characters after it ie PALMETTO.
