I've been looking for a holster for my NZ-85 but I can't seen to find much. There doesn't seem to be many holsters for CZs in general.

I've noticed that TAG makes a pretty sweet universal drop-leg, but I'm not keen on spending a lot on something that in all likelihood won't get much usage. I've also heard of guys putting spacers into a CZ kydex holster.

Are there other, better, cheaper, alternatives?

Thanks in advance.

I'll take that as a no.

On a side note I considered seriously picking up the tools and materials to make my own, ala the DIY pancake holster thread. I discovered that after buying tools and materials it'd cost way more than just buying the TAG universal. So I'll probably do that instead.

Any holster for a medium frame pistol will do.
Once you make your own, the first time, you'll never buy another one. The tools aren't terribly expensive, but finding suitable leather(8 to 10 oz) can be problematic. Tandy's sells holster making books.

Be advised that the NZ is a small bit bulkier in most dimensions than the CZ it is based upon. My NZ85 will NOT fit in my CZ holster.

Bet bet is a cheap generic holster like Uncle Mike's.

Sometimes Fobus holsters need a little work to fit.

I picked up a Fobus for my Shadow and had to do some minor filing to get the gun in the holster.

When I got my CZ85Combat I found with just a little more work (filing and a little moleskin to smooth it out) it fit perfectly in the same holster.

I subsequently picked up a Blade-tech Sp01 holster and both guns fit it perfectly.
