As the title states.

I've been pondering the idea of getting a Five Seven and possibly throwing it into a KPOS unit. Problem is, I can't find the gun. I emailed questar and they said they have some on order but they are taking a long time to get here. Probably months off still at this point. Does anyone know where I could look to find one? I posted a WTB on the EE and no luck yet. If anyone has any idea where to look for the gun and ammo I would greatly appreciate some pointers.

If all else fails, I could always go through Irunguns, but I would like to find another option within Canada first.

Thanks!

Find a $ource of ammo and brass fir$t. And dies and a shell holder. Mind you, I'd be surprised if there's any of it in Canada.

I had one for a while such a awesome gun... But I sold it because I could not source ammo on either side of the border. The only place in Canada that sells it is questar in 2000 round lots but its super pricey.

This is one reason why I don't own a Five-7. Only one vendor and ammo is expensive.

A buddy bought me a book called Weapons of War - Small Arms. This gun is in the book and I was shocked at the muzzle velocity and how the barrel and slide hold together until the pressure reaches a low enough point. Looks like a cool gun.

Yeah, I dont know what it is about this gun, I just want it really badly. I know its not practical. Parts are hard to find, ammo is hard to find and is expensive when you do, but its so lightweight, the round is cool and really low recoil. Also its just not a gun you see very often.

I've always toyed with the idea of a novelty gun/caliber, but my good sense has always guided me back to reality. It sucks spending $300 on 9mm... It sucks worse to spend even more on a caliber that you can't find.

Shot one way back when some FN reps were putting on a demo just after they came out.

Meh! Nothing about it made me want one.

I see ammo is plentiful & relatively cheap for 'em Stateside, though. Was in Bass Pro in Las Vegas & they had lots of 5.7 ammo.

I recently drove across the states from BC to Ontario checking every gun shop I cared to stop at and I found one Five seveN. Bought it. IRunGuns as the importer.

As for ammo. Reload.
