Searching for Hakim mag

Howdy. I traded an SVT-40 for an old Egyptian Hakim awhile back, but I can’t find a magazine anywhere for the life of me. There are no reproduction ones available in Canada from what i can tell and no retailers in the states have been willing to pin one to 5 rounds and ship it up to me. Any advice? Thanks guys.

I don't have a spare to offer you, but want to ask, where did the original go?
My guess is some idiot in the past hid the magazine somewhere separate from the rifle and forgot about it years later or died.

Have you tried going through an importer such as I Run Guns. Swede mags will fit. Also hard to find and neither mag is cheap.

I’ve got the original mag but the floor plate constantly pops out whenever i fire it. It’s also quite pitted whereas the metal everywhere else on the rifle is in excellent shape. I may just end up taking it to a gunsmith and seeing if they can do anything with it.

I tried them but they weren’t much help. I didn’t know the Swedish mags would work! I’ll keep my eyes open for one, thanks!

They occasionally show up at auctions/gun shows, but they seem to be plentiful in the US (repro's at least).
I'd just use a third party import service, Prophet River, Irunguns, A z t e c h, etc. Whichever can get one for the best price.

AG-42b mags fit the Hakim and are way easier to find.
