Sears "Ranger" single shot

Who made the Sears "Ranger" single shot shotguns? This is the American Sears Ranger, not the Cooey Ranger.

Mine is a 12 ga. with a 36" barrel. Serial number is A6503XX. Receiver looks like this one:

I thought I read somewhere a long time ago that Stevens made the single shot Ranger in the US.

Iver Johnson or Stevens, mine all have the Iver Johnson reciever, same as the Iver Johnson Champion, if Stevens, the 94C

Iver Johnson it is. I also have a Columbia, same thing. I showed it to Bruce, the parts guy from Alberta.

Huh, any research I did about US made Rangers came up Eastern Arms or Stevens. I stand corrected.
