Seating Depth Guage For 22-250

Got a sinclair seating depth gauge for my thompson center venture I got oal of 2.503 inch pulled off .10 of a inch but the bullet won;t fit in the clip if i make it fit in the clip i,m at 2.330 which is a diffrence of 2.33 is that far enough away from the rifling thank you

Lots of times magazine length will dictate max OAL. Some guys choose to shoot single shot due to this. The hunting guns I load for shoot good at mag OAL.

That's miles away as far as Im concerned...just shoot it or as mentioned use your measurement and load single shot. Adjusting seating depth in my 22-250 made a world of a different as far the size of my groups are concerned.
