Location
Sudbury, Ont.
May 12 this year.

It will be at the Crean Hill Gun Club again and we will be covering lead sources and alloys, refining, casting, sizing, lubing, powder coating &c., &c.

We will have four or five of the local experts on hand to show you what's involved in this aspect of our sport.

This will be a hands-on experience.

No cost. Coffee and doughnuts provided.

We will need at least five attendees who will confirm their attendance. Those who fail to come, after saying that they will, will be visited by the evil Spirit of Eternal Zinc Contamination.

As usual, around a bull session, proper footwear is suggested.

The club is about 40 minutes west of Sudbury, and awkward to reach if you're not sure of your bearings. So if any pilgrims from the south want to hook up with me, we can meet up in the south end and go in my car.

I'd be in if it wasn't a little bit too far, can never have enough knowledge! Very nice gesture by those involved in putting this seminar together. Thk

Spirit of Eternal Zinc Contamination, hahahaha...

Only one taker so far.
We need four more.
We've posted notices at the local clubs and at the LGS on Friday.
Please speak up if you're interested, or it's a bust.

We only have one confirmed attendee. If we don'the get five by the end on the month, we'll call it off.

Good for you trying! Stew, you are my "Godfather" of casting, you gave me a good start, and I tried the same thing a few years ago in much more highly populated Ottawa - three people attended. People are far too "busy" these days - it seems like every day is programmed.....

Well Slug, are we on for the weekend? Would be a great learning experience!

Sorry, no.

We had only three people who said they would attend.

It's not really worth it for five people to drag out their gear and arrange snacks for only three people.

If someone wants to see what casting is about, they can come over to my garage, now that the nice weather is here.
