Section B on the course report...

Hi there, I just finished my CFSC and CRFSC course and passed with flying colours. The only thing that I'm worried about is the instructor of my course did not fill in section B on both course reports, certifying that I actually took the course. But in section A, I selected that I took the CFSC and the CRFSC, and in section C, the examiner selected that the test I completed was a 'challenge' test.

Will I get boned by beauraucracy here? Or is this fine just the way it is?

If you did the full course, yes the instructor should have completed section B. However it shouldn't make a difference to the CFC as they should only be concerned about the test results.

PS. Some employers want to see that you completed the full course - if that's an issue for you...

Well, I did a course, I'm not sure if it was a "full course." It was a total of 4 hours for education on both subject matters.

On the application it only mentions whether you have passed examinations though, not whether you attended a course or not.

I don't know, I just wanna make extra sure about this so I don't wait for 3 months to get my application rejected.

Has anyone handed in a course report without section B and received their license?

4 hours? No you did NOT take a course at all. He pointed things out for you over the period of 4 hours and let you challenge the exams for them both, so your forms are filled out correctly. If you wanted to take the course, you should have spent about 8 to 12 hours for the non-restricted, and 4 to 6 for the restricted. So again, you did NOT take any courses and you challenged the exams so your forms are filled out correctly.

Hmmm, did the examiner also have you explain anything during the test or tell you how to do things?

During the practical, the examiner had me explain how I would store and transport both restricted and non restricted firearms. The examiner gave me no direction other than "pick up this firearm safely" "there is a fence, show me how you would cross it safely" "show me this position" etc.

Nowhere in the test do you have to explain anything. You have to demonstrate things like safe storage and legal transport. If the examiner didn't have you actually do these things and just had you explain how to do them, he was cheating on your behalf.

Okay?
