I'm a Newbie and glad to finally be on board....what a great site!
There are only a couple of days left in our local archery hunt. Hard snow and really cold temps are messing up my ground game. At this time of year I should be thinking about Santa, but I'm more likely to be thinking that most of the deer that visit my local piece of Heaven have long since relocated to the local yard.
All I want from Santa is a 270 WSM T3, and a TC Triumph muzzle-loader. Too much to ask you say? How about a nice 10-22 or high velocity air rifle for my son and I to play with.
I was thinking about purchasing a Stoeger X20 for target shooting(bench), plinking and the odd squirrel. Any thoughts, alternative suggestions, etc... would be appreciated!
