Seeking Daniel Defense Flattop Upper For AR15

Iam looking to buy a Daniel Defense flattop upper receiver (just the receiver, not the bolt, charge handle etc) with a picatinny rail, but it seems Iam running into roadblocks from suppliers regarding availability, unanswered emails, etc.
My rifle is an Olympic Arms AR-15, .223.
Does anyone know of a supplier who has one of these in stock( not coming in soon, or in a couple weeks...etc)that I can buy from?
Any help would be appreciated! :)

ps, Iam going (hopefully) to the lake this weekend, so I wont see any replies to this after tonight, but will check as soon as I get back on Monday.
 
Wolverine Supplies is going to be getting in some Daniel Defense stuff, M4 V3 and V5, not sure what else but it might be worth looking.

Have you tried posting a WTB in the EE?
 
ETA on Uppers, LPKs etc = indefinately


Put it this way. DD won't even take backorders at this time for them.

We do have uppers and complete rifles on order though.

You could always get a complete upper then sell the extra parts.
 
When I built my AR I ordered an upper from Dlask. To my surprise it was DD when it showed up. It wasn't advertised as such, but it was a pleasant surprise. You could try calling them and seeing what uppers they have. If they're in such short supply like Farmboy says I doubt they'd have any, but the worst they can say is no.
 
I seem to recall seeing an upper from a different manufacturer a couple of days ago though. I just quickly scanned the site at work, but I'll be damned if I can find or remember where I was!! Im sure the manufacturer of the upper started with a "V", and the price was 249.00. This ring a bell with anyone? Ya, Im not askin much.....LOL

I was going to say you can easily get an upper receiver a lot cheaper, but I just looked around and the places I've ordered from seem to be out of stock of stripped uppers.

The Vltor looks pretty sweet, I'm going to be getting that upper on a Noveske/Vltor PDW build I started the ball rolling on today.

EDIT: And I just noticed Armtac is out of stock on those. There seems to be a shortage of stripped uppers... I'd send Chris an e-mail, great dude to work with, and I'm sure he'll be getting more of them in.
 
We have a bunch of these sitting at the custom, so likely next week and we will have them in stock and few of the dealers will start to carry it as well.

However, it will last only few weeks before they are out again, we never seen to order enough.
 
Arms East has uppers in stock at a decent price. Stag is well known for the quality of their parts.
