Not a rant, just an observation.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the mag capacity
issues going on lately?

There are so many 10/22's that there will always be many for sale... I doubt that it has anything to do with the mags... most would still shoot them with the Ruger OEM 10 rounders...

It's about the most common .22 in Canada, therefore it should be about the most common .22 in the EE.

Up until about, oh, last fall, they were in short supply for couple years because of the gun-buying-crazed-stockpiling happening south of the border, so that put a bit of a damper on things for a bit. But things are back to normal now.

There are always several 10/22 s in the EE, many of which people spent a great deal of money modifying, then got bored with what they put together, and are now trying to recover as much as they can.

There are a lot of overpriced Honda Civics on Craigslist, too ...

I love my 10/22s; keep an eye on the EE for an older unit with the all-metal trigger group (same can be said for Remington 870s)

I have a pair of 10-22's and intend to keep them. Oh ya if some dipstick offered enough cash i would sell, but for now they stay on the farm. I look on the EE regularily but don't buy much, i know what stuff is worth and enjoy the humor.

It’s awesome to see a 10/22 go for $900-1,200 on EE, the love and care put into their rifles, takes my breath away.

Sadly many of those high dollar 10/22's are cheaper to build new and at the very least are not worth retail when they're USED.

I noticed the same. Looking back, makes me realize we had a 10-22 seller's market a year or so ago.
