SEI Crazy Horse in IRAQ

Socks under the butt. I take a wool sock and fill it with dry macaroni and then tie the open end in a knot. The result is a "bean bag" that is light, easy to carry, and can be used to support the butt or forend, when needed.

I discovered this trick when I went to the range for a match and discovered I forgot my sand bags. But I did have a pair of socks and there was a small grocery store that had macaroni. I have since done the same thing with dry white beans.

I assume the macaroni would be a disaster in the rain...

I am curious, about the supressors in that one pic. How "silent" is an M14 with a supressor on it?

Great pics by the way!

With sub sonic ammo it is silent. In the video you hear the trigger, firing pin and bullet strike.

The effectiveness of the sound suppressor with non sub sonic ammo can only be appreciated
when the microphone is placed in front of the rifle and not at the shooters 4:00.
I have sensitive ears and wore no hearing protection during the day long event - no ill effects

Nice! Love to see M14s in action. Keep up the pics H2OMan.

well you can push on the bipod easyli to create a tention on the leg, the weapon should move a bit less when it's fire.

The second anwser could be that ho just made a stupid mistake

For exemple the leg of the C9 bipod bend downward , it'S his useful top grip the ground.

That just an opinion by the way

hes lifting and moving his gun around at the time of the photo, look at the left leg of the bipod, its not touching the ground

He is not moving the rifle around intentionally,The photograph shows the rifle in recoil, please note the empty shell casing flying through the air above the shooters right shoulder.
