True enough. A while back, a buddy of mine was going through a time where financially, things were a little on the tight side. I had a model 70 in 300WM but had just acquired my favorite 30 cal magnum, a Schultz & Larsen in 308NM. Over the years I've had a couple of rifles given to me so, long story short, I gave the 300WM to my buddy for a birthday gift and so he had something appropriate for an upcoming Moose hunt.
He has no intention of parting with it, but if he ever is so inclined, I've got first 'kick at the cat'.
My first handgun when I was technically still a teenager. A used Llama mini 1911 in .32 acp. Back than, Llamas were quality guns for money. It was my pride and joy.
My vg+ Martini Henry mkI with correct early bayonet. Although I do have to admit that the collection it is now in is truly amazing and it belongs in the hands of it's new owne
Buddy, you don't have the time for that list.
3 come to mind quick though:
My Rem 700 BDL SS .270.
A Sako Finnwolf .308 I bought for $500
A Sako 75 Finnlight .270......
Have sold lots I would like to have back. Many of my single shot rifles I can not replace. My Rem. - Hepburn is quick to come to mind, a as new Browning 78, but you can't own every thing at once. Things have to leave so new things can come in.
