Just shot a few of these ones yesterday, the ones you can buy from SFRC in boxes of 25. They seem to be somewhat of a low recoil slug, the S&B website backs this up, with a velocity of 410m/s, the same as the 2 3/4" Sport slugs. Also the slug is noticeably set back from the end of the case, unlike most slugs which sit almost flat with the end of the plastic case. Just wondering, does anybody know what the purpose is of making low-recoil 3inch shells? Why not just use regular length, seems kind of pointless.
