Anybody tried this stuff?.......

I bought some today and it looks good but haven't shot it before and was wondering what experience some of you may have had with it. It's from the Czech Rebuplic.

TIA

I have shot it in 9mm and seems good. it has red primers for some reason though. home much is it for 45 and were do you get it from?

I have shot a good amount of the .45 acp S&B ammo. I have found it to be quite snappy, but not especially accurate. I have found the brass to be quite good for reloading. Just my $.02.

I don't know why I am telling you this because I want to buy more and I am pretty sure when people hear this they will sell out quickly. I paid 19.95 for 50 at William's Arms in Port Perry today. Please leave some for me!!!! :D

I've tried WWB, Winclean, American Eagle and UMC and the only thing that shoots better in .45 than S&B out of my CZ is Remington Golden Saber in 185gr - but you're not exactly going to put that stuff downrange on a regular basis. I've found S&B in 9, 40 and 45 to be at or near the top in terms of accuracy and reliability in my pistols (CZs, Sigs, and HK).

Thanks! I had to miss IDPA tonight and I was going to use my .45 with the S&B. Oh well, next week I guess!

I have used S&B in 9mm & 5.56 as well as .45 ACP. All I can say for the .45 is that my Kimber does not like it. Everything else ( WWB, UMC... ) feeds like a champ, the S&B gets at least one stove pipe per mag. Accuracy is fine just feed problems. Thankfully I only bought a brick of it - will not try it agian in .45 but the 5.56 & 9mm is great stuff.
Probably just my 1911 and not the ammo. I suspect a tiny difference in brass dims with the S&B, I will see when I start to reload it.

Interesting. I picked up a handful of red primed spent .45 casings at our gun range last weekend. I havent reloaded them as of yet cause 10rds is hardly worth ones while to reload. I was wondering who the maker was/is.
