Hi

I'll start by saying that I know next to nothing about rifles. Don't hunt anything you need them for. Shotguns are a whole different story.

About 7-8 years ago I attended a Delta Waterfowl dinner and won a new Remington 770 in .243 win. The first summer I had it I took it to my duck camp and fired exactly 20 rounds through it. Gun has sat in my safe ever since. While not new, it is damn close to being LNIB. It came with a Bushnell scope. That's the extent of what I know about the gun except that it is supposed to be an entry level rifle from Remington. Cleaning out the safe(s) and would rather add a shotgun than continue to store this one. What is it worth?

BTW, I'd like to sell it, not bump my ad every week for three months.

Thanks for your opinions.

not an overly popular rifle at all....my guess would put it around the $250-300 mark for an entry level or beater back up gun....not trying to insult you at all, just my opinion

I bought the same rifle package, scope and all, in 243, in 2008 for about $250 new from Cabelas. If it was me selling it today, I would be selling it for what I paid for it.

Possibly the worst bolt action rifle ever produced.....lol. Somebody will buy it from the EE no doubt....$250 shipped may be the top end.
Horrible gun.

Certainly not a high end rifle by any means ; you might be better off keeping it for a camp rifle as 200 to 250 does not go far these days....

There was a story of somebody leaving a 770 on the seat of his truck while he went for a beer. When he got back, someone had broken into it and left another one.
