Selling a restricted firearm is part of the course content and you should have learned this. Try these links and any further information call the CFC at 1 800 731-4000. I don’t know if they keep the information on previous owners of the firearm. It really wouldn’t matter if they kept that information as you don’t own the firearm anymore, kind of like a car right. If a firearm is reported lost or stolen it is recorded and what happens to the gun owner is dependent on the circumstances. I can think of a couple of cases that firearms were lost and returned and nothing happened. Now if it wasn’t reported or some funny business went down you can expect some jail time.
