Semi 22 Mag ?

It's listed on Wholesale's webpage and SIR's too, IIRC. As far as a .22 mag goes, I'm interested in the Marlin 925M as well as the Ruger 96. I like the look and feel of the Marlin and have a 880SQ in the family that is a tack-driver. The Ruger I want simply because I want a lever gun and like the idea of a detachable magazine in a rimfire
I would really like a mag fed .22 WMR auto loader, but I honestly cant find one other than the Remington 597 which I am not that fond of.
In the US, there is Excel Arms, who makes a neat looking rifle, but I dont think anybody up here carries them.

The 925M is a great rifle for the price. I have one and it's a great gun.
The only thing I don't like is that the mags that came with it are 4 round and 7 round. A 5 and 10 round would make it easier to shoot a box of 50.
I also had to take some polish to the bolt body to make the action work smoother. Not that the bolt was hard to work but it's a little gritty out of the box. a little bit of bore bright on the sear and a good evening of working the trigger cleaned it up nicely too.
I bedded mine and free floated the barrel and it shoots just over 1'' at 100 from a bag rest with federal premium ammo.

Kodiak is looking into it.
I just realized that http://www.freedomventures.ca/ carries the Desert Eagle Magnum Light series of rifles. Basically a 10/22 magnum in .22WMR or 17hmr. Price is about $1000 but they are a pretty premium rifle.
I will be putting this on my short list while i wait to see that is happening with the Excell import by Kodiak.

If money wasn't an issue, I'd probably look for an Anschutz.
If money was an issue, I'd find a decent Mossberg 640 (in one of its 'K' variants). I've had a few of those, and while they look like hell, they shoot way above their pay grade and sell for cheap.
Another make/model that sometimes shoots much better that you'd expect are the Win. 9422s....again, some do & some don't. Don't even think about trying to 'accurize' one of those things, and you need a calendar to measure the lock time, but about half of them will make a good bolt action cover its face in shame.
I've had several others, including a very disappointing CZ, and in my opinion truly accurate .22 WMRs are few and far between....truly accurate .17s or .22 LRS are not hard to find, but it seems harder to coax a high degree of accuracy out of a .22 WMR. I suspect it would be even harder to find an accurate autoloader.

Currently have a ruger 10/22mag and I do like it. Accurate enough for me and the animals that I shoot at. Played with mine a little that I currently have a folding stock (10/22 folding stock) adapted to it, along with some trigger work. I also had the ruger lever model but did not like it due to the way the lever was set up. I could not get use to it so off it went on trade to the semi.

To date the most accurate 22 mag I've owned and I've owned alot of them was a Iver Johnson 22 mag lever action.
Hmmm may try and contact the guy that I sold it to and see if he wants to sell it back to me.

That ole Iver was a critter getter, for some reason you never seemed to miss with it, and man did it punch a target.
I've had, 3 or 4 Marlin bolt action , Browning Pump (wish I still had it), A-bolt browning , Ruger lever, Ruger 77, Winchester 9422 2 or 3 of these and a Remington 597.
