Semi auto belt fed rifles.

I was told by someone who used it a bit that there was a prototype semi MG-42 in existence built by someone somewhere in Canada... If this rifle ever gets to a production stage, it would be awsome!

SHRAPNEL;

Yes we built several protype Mg-42s....

We have a model ready for production, it is approved both here and in the US.

"You forgot to mention you had no plans to produce them
You just trying to get people worked up & excited again ? "

He asked a specific question, I gave him an answer to that question....

You keep coming up with all this inside information, tell me how you arrive at the conclusion that we are not going to produce them ?

I don't know if it is inside information when I got it from your own post on the internet !:p
I'm just repeating what YOU have previously posted here
:D

That was a long time ago....

Since you are in a rush, why don't you buy up my stock of M53 LMGs and my drawings for the guns and assemble them here or off shore ....

Cut you one hell of a deal

John, I knew the Mg42 was your prototype but I was not sure you wanted it known you were working on the project... Knowing the impatience and nagging that could ensue! I talked to a member of the Haas reenactment group at the last Montreal gun show and it was exciting to hear about a canadian made semi-auto Mg42!

SHRAPNEL;

It is way pass the prototype stage.... The entire project took about 2.1/2/ years and seven prototypes before we came up with a satisfactory model.

As I said the RCMP has accepted our model and accorded it an FRT number.

Perhaps when the economy in the US improves we will begin production as the Canadian market alone is simply too small to justify a large run.

Less Bickering.

More MG34 Info.

And the MG34's?......

No one? John? I sent Marstar an email last week but have not heard anything. There has to be someone somewhere that has even a shred of info.

Any word on more MG34's? Anyone? I have cash set aside for one!

So I am guessing that no one wants to comment on the MG34's. Something that is actually on the market, unlike the 42's (interesting, don't get me wrong but currently unobtanium so my GAF is fairly low).

No kidding. That's a big project.

Do you have any pictures/video you could share with us?

RECCI 21;

As for SA Mg-34s we shuld have a small lot here before the end of the year....

But be advised that we will have less than 100 coming in....
